    John-Paul is a seasoned private equity practitioner, having negotiated over 100 deals as Investment Manager and General Counsel at LDC, the UK’s leading mid-market private equity fund. John-Paul was also responsible for LDC’s corporate social venturing, and its collaboration with Big Issue Invest which led to publication of the UK’s first “Social Impact Report” on Private Equity. John-Paul is currently COO at Gresham House.

    Andrew is a senior consultant with Accenture Strategy, based in London. Andrew has a particular focus on the new customer experiences, propositions and commercial operating models enabled by digital innovations and in the context of converging markets.

  • Lara Mott

    Lara is former Director of Investor Relations at GHO Capital Partners LLP, a specialist healthcare investment adviser. She was most recently Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Circassia Pharmaceuticals plc where she was recruited to support the largest UK biopharmaceutical fundraising at IPO.

    Lara is co-founder and CEO of our spinout ImproveWell.

    Dr Na’eem AhmedFounder

    Na’eem is a doctor in South London. He completed Academic Foundation Training at King’s College Hospital and thereafter worked as a Clinical Fellow to the NHS National Medical Director, Sir Bruce Keogh. He is a former advisory board member for Mayor of London’s Team London and former Trustee at Macmillan Cancer Support.

  • Dr Faheem Ahmed
    Dr Faheem AhmedCEO, HealthMakeSpace. Director, Selfless.

    Faheem is a doctor and NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow. He is the former student president of Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School. Faheem completed his MPH at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and was appointed to the Public Health in Humanitarian Crises Group. He is currently CEO of Selfless spin-out HMS, which has secured investment from Bethnal Green Ventures.

    Zahid has served as Head of Healthcare at Innovate UK (Technology Strategy Board) and Director of Population and Early Detection Research at Cancer Research UK. He is currently an Innovation and Supply Chain Specialist, Life Sciences Organisation at the Department for International Trade.

    Narinder is a Partner in CMS’s London Corporate Group and specialises in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. He advises private equity sponsors, financial institutions and corporates on acquisitions, disposals, restructuring and strategic joint ventures across a variety of industry sectors.

    Tamara graduated from King’s College London with a degree in History. Tamara has a strong interest in global health and international development.

    At Selfless, Tamara is developing our global health leadership programme and leading on stakeholder engagement for our innovative neonatal care project ‘Baby Bundles.’

    Elena graduated from King’s College London with a degree in History. She joins Selfless having worked at an international social enterprise that aims to improve access to eye care.

    Elena has a strong interest in international development and will be focusing on our maternal and child health programmes.

  • Pippa Khan
    Pippa KhanCommunications Associate

    Pippa Khan is a dental student and co-president of Smile Society at King’s College London, teaching dental health to primary school children. She is currently studying at King’s College London, having previously completed a BSc in Medical Genetics at Queen Mary, University of London. Pippa is also the Editor of the hospital journal, the GKT Gazette.

  • Raihan Mohammed
    Raihan MohammedPolicy Associate

    Raihan is a medical student at Cambridge University with a strong interest in global health. He sits on the Advisory Board of a MedTech Start-up, DemDx, and is the Policy Director for Polygeia, an international, student-run Healthcare ThinkTank. Raihan also has previous internships at Deloitte and in Healthcare Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank.

    Karen is an undergraduate public health student at Santa Clara University in the USA. During her time as a student, she has worked on the topics of sanitation, infant nutrition, and women’s empowerment with organizations in Bolivia and India. She isfascinated by how good design and innovation can better serve global health, which is why she is excited about Selfless.
